課程概述 |
本課程為一理論課程，探討晚近理論研究領域裡新出現的本體論，包括關於實在（reality）、物（object/thing）、物質（materiality）、生態、（後）人類（the (post)human）等的哲學與論述。課程內容涵蓋思辨實在論（speculative realism）、物件導向本體論（object-oriented ontology）、新物質主義（new materialism）、Bruno Latour的事物（thing）與生態理論、歐陸哲學重要理論家（如Bernard Stiegler, Michel Serres, Giorgio Agamben, Gilles Deleuze & Félix Guattari）的本體論述（選讀）等。這些新興理論不只在知識（認識論）上嘗試突破之前的語言轉向，更且涉及當代整體存在環境（包括生態與技術）以及生命定義的變化，因此可視為理論在本體上翻轉人本立場以及心物二元論的重要實踐。本課程雖無法涵蓋所有的新本體論述，但將儘量納入理論研究裡重要的路線與理論家，以探究當代理論或人文研究本體轉向的思想意義。 |
